Who is responsible

What this site is

jawji.com is a static website: a portfolio, archive and personal project space. It has no user accounts, no newsletter, no contact form, and no comment system. There is nothing for you to sign up to.

All interactive demos on the site run entirely in your browser and do not send data anywhere. The Expiry Ledger demo saves what you enter in your browser’s own storage (localStorage) on your device, so it is still there when you come back. It is never sent to me or anyone else. Use “Reset demo” or clear this site’s data in your browser to remove it.

What this site does not do

• It does not set cookies of any kind.
• It does not use analytics or visitor statistics tools.
• It does not use advertising, tracking pixels or conversion tags.
• It does not use session recording, heatmaps or fingerprinting.
• It does not embed third-party social or media widgets that would contact other servers.
• It does not ask for health data or any other sensitive personal information.

Because no non-essential cookies or trackers are used, the site shows no cookie banner. There is nothing optional to consent to.

Server logs

Like almost every website, the hosting infrastructure that serves these pages may automatically record basic technical information when a page is requested. This can include your IP address, the browser user agent string, the page requested, and the time of the request.

This information is processed only to deliver the site, keep it available and secure, and prevent abuse. It is not used to build a profile of you, and it is not shared for marketing. It is kept only as long as the hosting provider needs it for those purposes. Where this processing is covered by law, it relies on the legitimate interest of operating a secure website.

If you contact me

Direct contact is by email or phone, using the details on the contact page. If you write to me, I receive your message and whatever details you choose to include. I use it only to reply to you, and I keep it only as long as needed for that conversation.

The optional Instagram and LinkedIn links on this site lead to external platforms. Nothing about you is sent to those platforms unless you choose to click through, and their own privacy policies then apply.

Fonts, files and external links

The site uses a single typeface which is served from this domain, not fetched from a third-party font service, so your browser does not contact an outside font host. The downloadable CV is a static file served from this domain too.

Links to external sites (Instagram, LinkedIn) are provided for convenience. I am not responsible for the content or data practices of those sites.

Your rights

Where personal data is processed, you may have the right to access it, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how it is used, and receive it in a portable form, as well as the right to complain to your local data protection authority. Because this site collects so little, the most likely route to exercise any of these is to contact me at jjjawji@gmail.com.

Children

This site is a personal portfolio and is not directed at children, and it does not knowingly collect their data.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and uses standard security headers. No system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, but the design keeps the risk low by collecting and storing as little as possible.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will change with it. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the current version.
